Honoured to be invited to be part of the PALM8 (Program for Advanced Leadership and Management 8) in Saudi in May 20`6. Providing training alongside speakers are from the TOP FT rated business schools.

The Program for Advanced Leadership and Management (PALM) is dedicated to leverage the skills of experienced leaders who can take advanced decisions to address challenging issues. The participants will leave with a broader vision of success and shall be equipped to make tough decisions required to succeed in today’s global economy.

Funding for Training

Funding for Training

Tony Swainston Ltd is now registered to deliver training for the LEP skills service.

This new service from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) helps businesses to identify their skills needs based on their business growth objectives and then find the right training solution.

Small and medium-sized business based in the Leeds City Region that have a budget to put towards training could be eligible for funding of between £500 and £50,000. To find out more about the LEP skills service and apply, visit: www.the-lep.com/skillsservice

The Leeds City Region covers:

  1. Barnsley
  2. Bradford
  3. Calderdale
  4. Craven
  5. Harrogate
  6. Kirklees
  7. Leeds
  8. Selby
  9. Wakefield
  10. York

The types of training courses that could be eligible for the Skills Fund include ILM Leadership and Management programmes and ILM Coaching and Mentoring programmes. (ILM is the Institute of Leadership and Management).

Please note that all skills service applications are subject to approval panels and are assessed on a case by case basis.

Coaching for Battle Back

Coaching for Battle Back

In 2016 I will be training 30 members of Battle Back up to ILM Level 5 in Coaching & Mentoring.

The British Legion established and operates The Battle Back Centre, to support wounded, injured and sick Service personnel. The Centre exists to help people achieve their best possible recovery and either return to Service duty or to make a smooth transition to civilian life.

In January and February 2016 I will be working with the MOE (Ministry of Education) in Saudi Arabia training advisers about:

  • Visible Learning

and the impact both of these have in schools.
